Daniel Tan graduated from the National University of Singapore, Faculty of Dentistry where he received his dental degree in 2012. He received his specialty certification in Advanced Prosthodontics from the University of Southern California in 2020. In between, he practiced in both the public and private sectors for several years a general dentist, where he found his passion for prosthodontics, and obtained Fellowship in the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (New South Wales, Australia). This passion led him to further his education and pursue his Prosthodontic specialty training at USC.
He received numerous scholarship awards as a resident: the Drs. Jack Preston, Howard Landesman and William Wright Scholarship;the Terry Donovan Endowed Fund; the Howard and Lynne Landsman Endowed Scholarship; and the Max Sosin Endowed Scholarship
